The AEI Urban Cluster for the Efficient Use of Water in Saragossa was created with the following mission:
To promote an efficient and sustainable use of water in Saragossa as well as an associated energy consumption in urbanized areas, getting different public and private actors to collaborate, starting from knowledge generation, demonstrative projects and innovative solutions.
And with this vision:
To become an international collaboration, knowledge and innovation referent for an efficient and sustainable water use in urbanized areas as well as a driver of quality employment for Saragossa.
These mission and vision are translated into three strategic targets:
1. To boost efficiency and sustainability in water use and management as well as in the associated energy consumption of the city of Saragossa.
2. To position the AEI on a national and international level as a collaboration, knowledge and innovation referent for an efficient and sustainable water management in urbanized areas and for the reduction of the associated energy consumption.
3. To turn the efficient use of water into a driver of quality employment for the city.
