CONTAZARA participates in the ALIANZA Q-ZERO

Our partner CONTAZARA is one of the 40 industrial companies that have participated in the creation of the Alianza Q-Cero, at the initiative of IBERDROLA. Its main objective is to accelerate the decarbonisation of thermal demand in industry and buildings in Spain, a sector with high energy needs, and to combat climate change by taking advantage of economic opportunities and job creation.

Participating entities such as Abadía Retuerta, Ábbatte, AFEC, AndreuWorld, Antolín, AQ Compute, Bayer, bp, Carbon2Nature, Castillo de Canena, Contazara, Crimidesa, Disalfarm, EIT Climate KIC, Ence-Energía y Celulosa, Estrella Levante (Grupo DAMM), Fagor Ederlan, Ferrovial, Gonvarri Solar Steel, Google, Heineken, Holcim, Iberdrola, Kyoto, Lactalis, Latem Aluminium, Losán, Masam, Merlin Properties, Molecor, NetZero Basque Industrial Super Cluster, Pepsico, Plastic Energy, Porcelanosa, Rebi, Sabic, SpainDC, T500 Puratos and Tubos Reunidos Group.

Water is a perfect ally for decarbonisation, as the water sector is an energy consumer in the catchment, distribution and purification process, with large consumers such as irrigation, industry and cities.

CONTAZARA, as a company of smart water and thermal energy meters with remote reading, contributes to the efficient use of thermal energy by promoting the knowledge of its consumption, which makes possible its reduction with the consequent environmental impact.
