ZINNAE attends the II International Conference “Challenges, trends and solutions in the development and processing of bio-based products”, held in Zaragoza on 14 and 15 May, as part of the IPPT_TWINN research project. The authors are Laura Villacián, Marisa Fernández and Ana María López-Sabirón.

The conference will bring together the different actors and stakeholders from industry, academia and research in the field of biopolymers and biocomposites, addressing the challenges, new trends, markets and current and future solutions in the development of new bio-based polymeric materials and composites, as well as their processing and recycling.

In addition, ZINNAE will present the European project UPSTREAM HORIZON, which addresses the challenges of monitoring, prevention, disposal and recovery of waste, plastics and microplastics, with solutions for the pollution of European rivers.
