The CircInWater project has started on 1 September and aims to be an accelerator of innovative solutions in the water sector to increase sustainability and resilience. CircInWater will work in two industrial ecosystems with high water consumption: agri-food industries and energy-intensive industries. Its specific objectives are:
– Connecting SMEs providing innovative solutions with water-intensive industrial ecosystems:
– Encourage the adoption of new technologies: sensors and smart materials, data management systems, biogas and biohydrogen production….
– Promote innovation and internationalisation of SMEs through grants and training services.
– Develop a long-term strategy to work with other water-intensive industrial ecosystems.
The project is funded by the European Commission under the Euroclusters call and we will work together with 6 other European water clusters: France Water Team, Water Alliance, Kuopio Water Cluster, Water Cluster Finland, Blue Economy Mikkeli, CRE Hydro&Energy Cluster, and a research centre, ICOK.
