The webinar “Water Consumption by Data Centres: Challenges and Opportunities” was organised on 2 June to present a study conducted by ECODES, in collaboration with ZINNAE and the University of Zaragoza. The study examines how to balance the growth of the digital sector with strategies to reduce environmental impact.

The session accounted with more than 70 attendees, which highlights the strong interest in the development of data centres as a key component of the digital economy, as well as the environmental, economic, and regulatory challenges that it poses.
