Water resource assessment and management in renewable H2 projects
The objective of the H2iber project is to design an application that integrates artificial intelligence in order to manage the water resources available in the regions where renewable hydrogen production projects are to be implemented.
ZINNAE has made progress from the perspective of water resources, defining the main water consumption variables and their quantification for renewable hydrogen production projects in Aragon. Advances have also been made in analysing the main characteristics and availability of water resources in Aragon in the medium and long term.
This information will be relevant for planning and decision making in future renewable hydrogen production projects, contributing to the drive for a more sustainable economy.
This work precedes the next actions of the project focusing on the development of artificial intelligence, modelling, and digitisation.
In this innovative project we go hand in hand with our partners in the consortium, FHa Foundation for the development of new hydrogen technologies in Aragon, GEOSPATIUMLAB, S.L and DH2 ENERGY.
